Livin’ It Up In New York

A social life - defined as doing enjoyable things in a particular place with a group of persons - is bound to be more fun in the city of New York. Whether it's a night out with your significant other, a group of friends out partying, or a family outing, you are in the right place to have the time of your life.
Central Park is 843 acres, with things of interest for people of all ages, genders, and walks of life. Whether you're in the mood for a rowdy, fun concert, or a relaxing carriage ride, you'll find it here. If you've got the kids, check out the zoo.
Times Square, sometimes called 'The Crossroads of the World', is always a fun time. Be sure to head down this way and mingle with the hundreds of thousands of people who walk through this area daily. Don't forget to visit Madame Tussauds wax museum and grab lunch at the famous Planet Hollywood while you're in this part of town.
If it's a night out on the town, there are five-star restaurants and bars that cater to A-Listers in every section of this wonderful city. If fancy isn't really your style, don't worry. There are plenty of more laid-back bars, clubs, and restaurants as well. And unlike the small-town hours that most of us are used to, these places will most likely be open long after your local hangout has made their last call.
For you guys and girls who love to shop, New York is the place for all things designer. If you need a new purse, makeup, or some new shoes, you'll find all the best brands here. Maybe all you need is a new swimsuit or some fancy chocolates. You won't find better than those that are for sale in the shops of New York.
If you're looking for an educational day, New York has a number of museums, as well as the Statue of Liberty, the memorial for the World Trade Center, and the Empire State Building. Finish off your day with a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge.
As much fun as New York is, each day here is just business as usual for some. Many people here, both men and women, have their careers here. Lawyers, stylists, doctors, artists, bakers, models, and many other people work in New York every day.
New York may be crowded, but those crowds are great for all of those who do earn their living here. All of the people that make up this big, crowded city are good for the economy of the city. A lot of prestigious firms are here for a lawyer to be a part of. Stylists have many more people come in, even at just a walk in place, than would those that work in a city with less population. The same thing applies to owners of small shops, and even large designer department stores. More population means more need for medical professionals and caregivers as well.
There are many opportunities for philanthropists to help out in a place as large as this. There are so many places looking for a helping hand. Whether you can help a person, animal, or place out once in awhile or all the time, there will always be someone in need of something. Some may need food or shelter, some may need the use of a property to open a shelter or business devoted to helping out humanity. A lot of the business people of New York may need help with their children while they're at work. If you cannot donate your time, maybe you can donate some money to a worthy cause. Where there are people, there will always be room for kindness.
